The purpose of the two trees.
Last Saturday I was blessed with the opportunity to be part of a tree planting group at Mt. Makiling.
It was a very last minute invitation, one I believe that God has prepared for me in advance. The night before I wanted to volunteer to help with repacking relief goods at Ateneo de Manila for the victims of Typhoon Yolanda but was told by a friend that they weren’t accepting any more volunteers that night so with a heavy heart I went home to rest. My heart was still yearning to do something and when I woke up the next day, an opportunity presented itself that has granted me the experience of being involved in a tree planting project.
